Members of Congress are ranked by seniority or time in service.  This seniority system leads to a culture of power brokering among its members.  They become less interested in what's good for Americans and they care more about power.

The map below indicates how long a member has been serving in Congress.  We ought to see more blue across the map.  The blue districts indicate that the current member has been in office for less than 4 terms, i.e. they are in their 3rd, 2nd, or 1st term.  When you hover over a congressional district, you will see when they began their first term. The longer a member has served, the more out of touch they are and will likely not vote for Term Limits!

"Term Limits" can be voted on by members of Congress as a Constitutional Amendment; however, a member that has served more than 4 terms (or 8 years) the equivalent of the President's term limit, would be voting themselves out of a job.  This is highly unlikely to occur, especially by those drunk with power.  Members in green are in their 4th term and will have served for 8 years when they are up for reelection in 2024; therefore, they too would be unlikely to vote for term limits.

Therefore, we invite you to campaign against your representative IF they will not pledge to vote for "Term Limits" as a Constitutional Amendment.  A pledge to vote for term limits by our representatives is a simple litmus test to see whether they are drunk with power or not.  Find your representative here: https://ziplook.house.gov/  Ask if they would vote for term limits and to pledge publicly.  If they are unwilling, we encourage you to campaign for the office in your district, bearing in mind that the official campaign season starts in January 2024.
